Patients are now able to come to our Orlando offices and have not only same day appointments, but can take pills orally and vaginally that will cause the abortion to occur generally 4 to 8 hours after starting the medication. Patients 3 to 9 weeks are able to go home immediately after taking and inserting the pills. This method is effective 85% of the time. If less than 6 weeks pregnant, there is less than an 8% failure rate.
